A meditation for renewal

I’m often reminding clients that so much of grief care is self-care — the small things that feel nourishing, restful, kind, soothing to our bodies, our hearts, our spirits. The small moments of pause where we allow the holding of ourselves, and our grief, with love and tenderness. Noticing the beauty of nature, connecting to the breath, taking a nap, moving our bodies, hydrating, letting ourselves receive another’s caring won’t heal our grief…but these practices can create more space to be present to our grief with greater self-compassion. Help us touch the bones of our resilience. Slow us down enough to reveal to us what we need next…and how we may enter that moment and the one that follows leaning a little more into grace.

This is a meditation to help you remember the ways life is supporting you, that you are held in benevolence.
